At Cache Valley labs Direct, we take the health of all patients seriously. If you are a female patient in need of more comprehensive testing to get a good idea of the current state of your health, the Comprehensive Female Panel takes a deeper dive than the Women’s Health Panel and can give you valuable insights including hormones that are more specific to women that may affect a wide range of aspects of patient health.
CBC w/ diff
A complete blood count (CBC) with a differential measures the different components of blood, including red blood cells (RBCs), platelets, and white blood cells (WBCs), including differentiating between different types of WBCs. A CBC blood test can help identify disorders of the blood, immune system, infections, and more. $49.00
CMP
A comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) includes levels of glucose, calcium, sodium, potassium, carbon dioxide, chlorine, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine, albumin, total protein, alkaline phosphatase (ALP), alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), albumin, and bilirubin. Testing these analytes can provide insight into potential disorders or diseases and serves as a window into the overall health of a patient.
$49.00
Lipid Panel
The lipid panel test measures high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), total cholesterol, and triglycerides. These are the lipids, or fats, in your blood.$49.00
TSH
Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is secreted by the pituitary gland in the brain, and signals the thyroid to produce thyroid hormones, which affect metabolism. Increased or decreased TSH can point to health issues that may otherwise go unnoticed. $49.00
Hemoglobin A1C
Hemoglobin is a protein found in red blood cells, which blood sugar can bind to for the lifespan of a red blood cell. Because red blood cells generally live for three months, a hemoglobin A1C test gives an overview of blood sugar levels for the past three months. $49.00
DHEA-S
DHEA-S measures the functions of the adrenal glands, which control hormones and affect the heart and vascular system.
$69.00
Progesterone
Progesterone is a hormone that affects female fertility and can be used as an early sign of a high-risk or an unviable pregnancy.
$59.00
Testosterone (LC/MS)
This test uses mass spectrometry technology to accurately measure the low testosterone levels that naturally occur in women. Abnormal testosterone levels can affect the menstrual cycle and female reproductive system.
$69.00
Estradiol
Estradiol levels can indicate whether the ovaries are functioning correctly and can be helpful in diagnosing conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), early menopause, and hypopituitarism.
$49.00
Thyroid Antibodies
Antibodies are part of the immune response, and in autoimmunity, antibodies can attack part of a patient’s own body. Testing for thyroid antibodies can help determine whether thyroid issues are being caused by an autoimmune response.
$49.00
Cost of labs if purchased separately: $540.00Cost of panel: $229.00
Our mission of empowering our patients includes helping you identify which panels may be best for your unique needs. As such, we love sharing panels that may be appropriate for similar measures, allowing patients to compare, contrast, and make informed decisions about the blood tests they choose to undergo. Similar testing options include: ● Women’s Health: A more general approach, the Women’s Health Panel has a number of overlapping tests with the Comprehensive Female Panel. However, it includes a routine urinalysis in place of the DHEA-S, progesterone, testosterone (LC/MS), estradiol, and thyroid antibodies tests.
● Comprehensive Male Panel: The male equivalent, the Comprehensive Male Panel trades the female hormone tests for total testosterone and prostate specific antigen (PSA).
