Weight Management

Weight Management Labs Near Logan, UT

Cache Valley Labs Direct offers a Weight Management Panel for patients seeking further insights to help them on their weight control journey. This is something that many patients struggle with, and we are happy to help provide insights on any conditions or reasons that weight management may be challenging for them. Understanding these conditions can help individuals become more successful in achieving the healthy weight they desire.

The Weight Management Panel includes:

  • CBC

A complete blood count (CBC) with a differential measures the different components of blood, including red blood cells (RBCs), platelets, and white blood cells (WBCs), including differentiating between different types of WBCs. A CBC blood test can help identify disorders of the blood, immune system, infections, and more.

  • CMP

A comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) includes levels of glucose, calcium, sodium, potassium, carbon dioxide, chlorine, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine, albumin, total protein, alkaline phosphatase (ALP), alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), albumin, and bilirubin. Testing these analytes can provide insight into potential disorders or diseases and serves as a window into the overall health of a patient.

  • Estradiol

Estradiol levels can indicate whether the ovaries are functioning correctly and can be helpful in diagnosing conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), early menopause, and hypopituitarism.

  • DHEA Sulfate

DHEA-S measures the functions of the adrenal glands, which control hormones and affect the heart and vascular system. $69.00

  • Progesterone

Progesterone is a hormone that affects female fertility and can be used to monitor pregnancy . $59.00

  • TSH

Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is secreted by the pituitary gland in the brain, and signals the thyroid to produce thyroid hormones, which affect metabolism. Increased or decreased TSH can point to health issues that may otherwise go unnoticed.

  • Testosterone (LC/MS)

This test uses mass spectrometry technology to accurately measure the low testosterone levels that naturally occur in women. Abnormal testosterone levels can affect the menstrual cycle and female reproductive system, as well as metabolism and weight management.

  • Cortisol, Total

Cortisol--also called the stress hormone--can indicate how well the adrenal and pituitary glands are working, and testing these levels can help identify cortisol-related disorders, all of which can relate to weight management.

  • Lipid Panel

The lipid panel test measures high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), total cholesterol, and triglycerides. These are the lipids, or fats, in your blood.

Cost of labs if purchased separately: $481.00 Cost of panel: $249.00
