Thyroid Gland Function Panel in Logan, UT

Cache Valley Labs Direct offers a Thyroid Panel. Having an underactive or overactive thyroid can cause health issues ranging from fatigue to cold and heat sensitivity, weakness, insomnia, mental health problems, weight loss or gain, and more. If you have been struggling with any of these issues, this panel may be for you. Thyroid issues are fairly common among patients, and we take great pride in providing the information necessary for these patients to receive treatment and regain normal function of their thyroid and metabolic processes.

The Thyroid Panel includes:

  • TSH

Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is secreted by the pituitary gland in the brain, and signals the thyroid to produce thyroid hormones, which affect metabolism. Increased or decreased TSH can point to health issues that may otherwise go unnoticed.  $49.00

  • T4 (Thyroxine)

TSH is secreted in the brain, and signals the thyroid to produce T4, or thyroxine. Thyroxine affects metabolism, digestion, bone health, brain development, as well as the heart and other muscles
